Solve the Word: 4 Pictures, 3 Clues, Pairs, Blur, Color, Pixel, Scratch, Spotlight and Tiles use a shared player account. Individual games may offer different features during testing.

Account and game data

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we use the provider's account identifier to recognise your account. We do not receive your Google or Apple password. Login credentials and session information are used to authenticate and protect access.

We store your player code, chosen username and avatar, game and language preferences, progress, answers, points, hints and reward history where these online features are available. Your public profile and ranking information may be visible to other players. Friend connections, help requests and inbox messages are processed when you use those features.

Daily rewards use your timezone offset and play times; reminders also use these when enabled. Reports include your account identifier, selected reasons and question or image references. If purchases are enabled, we store purchase identifiers and entitlement/refund history; Apple or Google handles payment details.

Notifications and device storage

If you enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple notification services process a device delivery token and notification information. You can disable notifications in device settings. Signing out or deleting your account removes the corresponding active device registration from our service.

The website uses session and security cookies for sign-in. Games may store settings, cached pictures and local demo progress on your device. Clearing local storage can remove those local settings and demo records; uninstalling alone does not delete an online account.

Advertising

Some pre-release versions have advertising disabled or show test advertisements. Where enabled, Google AdMob and its consent tools process information needed to deliver and measure ads, such as IP address, device or app identifiers, ad interactions and privacy choices. Non-personalised ads can still involve data processing.

Where a consent form is provided, you can choose your preferences and reopen advertising privacy options in game settings when available. Device notification permission is separate from advertising choices. Verified rewarded advertisements may add points; closing an advertisement early does not guarantee a reward.

Reward verification sends internal player and reward-session identifiers to Google. These are used to confirm the reward and prevent duplicate credits.

Service providers and purposes

We process information to operate the games, maintain account access and progress, deliver requested social features and notifications, handle support, and prevent abuse or duplicate rewards. Support messages contain the information you choose to send.

Our hosting and storage use Hetzner; Cloudflare provides network delivery and protection. Google and Apple provide sign-in, and Google Firebase and Apple provide notification delivery. Google AdMob provides advertising in enabled mobile versions. These providers may process information in different countries under their own privacy terms. Their privacy notices are linked below.

Account deletion and retained records

After you confirm deletion, your shared account, public profile, linked sign-in identities and sessions are deleted. Progress, answers, points, hints, reward and security history for all nine games, friend connections, help requests, inbox messages and notification registrations are removed. Apple sign-in revocation is requested where applicable.

Restricted backups can contain earlier records. Normal database backups are kept for 14 days; manual recovery copies are retired separately. Restoring a backup reapplies current deletion requests before the service opens. A private record containing only an internal account identifier and request date is kept until relevant recovery copies are retired to prevent the account returning. Pending Apple revocation may retain an encrypted token for up to 30 days, removed sooner on success. Old ranking caches expire within 15 seconds. Support emails are handled separately; contact support about their deletion.

Your choices and contact

Contact support@solvetheword.com to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to ask about privacy choices. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. Do not send passwords, verification codes or sign-in tokens.

The games are intended for ages 13 and above and are not designed for young children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support. Changes to this notice will be shown here with a new update date.

Usage measurement and error reports

In supported mobile versions, Firebase Analytics measures usage and Firebase Crashlytics handles error reports. Both options are off by default and can be changed separately in game settings. Advertising and notification permissions are separate.

If you enable usage measurement, Analytics may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, usage events, and approximate location inferred from your IP address, such as country or city. We do not request GPS location permission for this measurement.

When enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, page views and loading performance on public web game pages. This integration creates no analytics cookies and excludes local tests, pilots and private help or invitation links. Visits are not an exact count of individual people.

Enabled web and API error reporting uses Sentry. The application’s report filter removes answers, email addresses, session keys and request content. Provider SDKs may process technical device and service information under their own privacy terms.
